Description
Superplast BN10 is a special coating for the for the forming and superplastic forming. It contains boron nitride ("white graphite") which applies as highly effective high temperature lubricant, where graphite and oils cannot be used due to extreme temperature conditions. This environmetally friendly coating is free from chlorides, fluorides and heavy metals. It is suitable for the coating of sheet metals and workpieces as well as dies. Superplast BN10 results in smooth, lacquer-similar coatings, which indicate a good adhesion to the metallic substrates both at ambient temperature as well as within the high temperature area. Beside the ready for use suspension Superplast BN10 the concentrate Superplast BN25 is also available for highest requirements. For highly pure applications and the avoidance of any contamination the product Boron-Nitride-Coating Grade HP should be used. The surfaces to be coated
should be clean, dry and free of dust. Degrease
SPF sheets prior to application of Superplast BN10.
Containers should be kept closed and product protected against frost. A storage temperature of >5°C (>41°F) is recommended. Superplast BN10 is available in 1kg-containers and 6kg-containers. Superplast BN10 is free of solvents and according to data available to us a non-hazardous preparation. An EC material safety data sheet is available. |
