Description
Boron-Nitride-Coating Grade HP is a special coating for the superplastic forming of components from titanium for the aerospace industry. It finds application for components even with severe forming ratio. Boron-Nitride-Coating Grade HP is a formulation based on boron nitride, blended with a refractory binder. This environmentally friendly coating contains no solvents and is free from chlorides and fluorides. Boron-Nitride-Coating Grade HP is assigned for the coating of the die surfaces as well as the SPF sheet metals. It is an alternative to solvent-based graphite and boron nitride SPF parting agents. Boron-Nitride-Coating Grade HP results in a very smooth surface like a gloss coating lacquer. It shows good adhesive strength to the sheet metal at ambient temperature as well as within the high temperature area. The surfaces to be coated
should be clean, dry and free of dust. Degrease
SPF sheets prior to application of Boron-Nitride-Coating Grade HP.
Containers should be kept closed and product protected against frost. A storage temperature of >5°C (>41°F) is recommended. Boron-Nitride-Coating Grade HP is available in 1kg-containers. Boron-Nitride-Coating Grade
HP is free of solvents and according to data available to us a
non-hazardous
preparation. An EC material safety data
sheet
is available.
