Description
Applying the boron nitride coating of the type Solder-Stop BN25 covers areas of the substrate to be protected efficiently and prevents during the brazing the unwanted running of the solder. Solder-Stop BN25 is applied to the areas to be protected by brushing or spraying. It can be used at air to 1000°C and is compatible with mist materials used with brazing such as copper solder, silver solder or AlSi-solder. Solder-Stop BN25 is suitable with the brazing of iron, copper and nickel material as well as aluminium. As a ready for use version for standard applicationthe product Solder-Stop BN10 is available. Alternatively the quick drying product Boron-Nitride-Coating Grade E can be used. The surfaces which can be
coated should be clean, dry free of dust, perhaps
degreasing may be necessary.
Keep containers closed and protect product against frost. A storage temperature of >5°C (>41°F) is recommended. Solder-Stop BN25 is available in 1kg-containers and 6kg-containers. According to data available to us Solder-Stop BN25 is a non-hazardous preparation. An EC material safety data sheet is available. |
