4.5 Ingestion: Drink plenty of water. Summon doctor if necessary.

5. Fire-fighting measures
5.1 General information: Product is highly flammable. Keep away from sources of ignition. Vapour is heavier than air and forms explosible mixtures with air. Take means to prevent electrostatic charging.
5.2 Suitable extinguishing media: CO2, foam, powder.
5.3 Extinguishing media which must not be used for safety reasons: Not applicable.
5.4 Special exposure hazards arising from the substance or preparation itself, combustion products or resulting gases: Not applicable.
5.5 Special protective equipment for fire-fighters: As in any fire, wear self-contained, pressure-demand breathing apparatus and full protective gear.

6. Accidental release measures
6.1 Personal protection: Observe protection measures from other sections.
6.2 Environmental protection: Keep away from drainage, waters and soil.
6.3 Methods for cleaning up: Take up with liquid-absorbent material and store in a closed container.
6.4. Additional information: Remove sources of ignition.

7. Handling and storage
7.1 General information: No special means required.
7.2 Handling: Use only in well-ventilated working places.
7.3 Storage: Keep container tightly closed. Store in a well-ventilated and cool place.

8. Exposure controls/personal protection
8.1 Additional information for system design: Use appropriate local exhaust ventilation to control airborne levels which may be generated by spraying this product.
8.2 Components with specific control parameters:
MAK Germany (max. workplace conc.) Ethanol: 1000ppm or 1900mg/m³.
8.3 Personal protection:
General protection and hygiene measures: Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Do not inhale vapours. Take off immediately contaminated clothing. Observe usual precaution measures when handling chemicals.
Respiratory Protection: Required above control parameters.
Eye Protection: Side-shielded safety goggles.
Hand Protection: Protective gloves. The glove material has to be impermeable and resistant to the product/ the substance/ the preparation. Selection of the glove material on consideration of the penetration times, rates of diffusion and the degradation
· Material of gloves
The selection of the suitable gloves does not only depend on the material, but also on further marks of quality and varies from manufacturer to manufacturer. As the product is a preparation of several substances, the resistance of the glove material can not be calculated in advance and has therefore to be checked prior to the application.
· Penetration time of glove material
The exact break through time has to be found out by the manufacturer of the protective gloves and has to be observed.
· For the permanent contact gloves made of the following materials are suitable: Recommended thickness of the material: 0.7 mm
Fluorocarbon rubber (Viton)
Value for the permeation: Level ≥ 480 min
· As protection from splashes gloves made of the following materials are suitable: Recommended thickness of the material: 0.6 mm
Natural rubber, NR
Value for the permeation: Level ≥ >120
Skin protection: Not required.
