for coating ceramics and graphite for sintering hard metal powders stable against reactive metallic melts quick drying formulation |
Description
Titanium-Nitride-Coating Grade E is a special coating based on high purity titanium nitride (>99% TiN). This coating can be very well used as a parting agent when sintering hard metal powders on graphite supports and trays. Also Titanium-Nitride-Coating Grade E shows a good stability against reactive metal melts lilke nickel, cobald and chrome as well as copper. Titanium-Nitride-Coating Grade E can be used to coat graphite and ceramics. After the application on graphite a hard and abrasive-resistant titanium carbide layer can be produced with Titanium-Nitride-Coating Grade E by thermal treatment. Titanium-Nitride-Coating Grade E can be used at air to 500°C, under vacuum and inert gas atmosphere to 1500°C. Resuspend or shake
Titanium-Nitride-Coating Grade E prior to use. This
product may be diluted with ethanol if necessary.
