Description
Aluminium-Oxide-Coating AW is a high purity alumina coating with excellent release and non-sticking properties. Due to its high chemical resistance this coating serves as a chemical reaction barrier with sintered materials, e.g. with the production of hard metals (tungsten carbides) and magnetic substances. An application as a protective and release coating is also possible in the field of melting and casting processes of aggressive metals, alloys and slags. Aluminium-Oxide-Coating AW produces a soft and flexible coating. For hard and abrasive-resistant coatings the product Aluminium-Oxide-Coating AA is available. Aluminium-Oxide-Coating AW can be used both at air as well as under vacuum and inert gas up to 1800°C. Resuspend
Aluminium-Oxide-Coating AW prior to use. Dilute with distilled
water if necessary.
Aluminium-Oxide-Coating AW must be protected against frost. A storage temperature of >5°C (>41°F) is recommended. The containers should be kept closed. Aluminium-Oxide-Coating AW is available in 1kg-containers. According to data available
to us Aluminium-Oxide-Coating AW is a non-hazardous preparation. An EC
material safety data sheet is available.
